Two Falls (Nishu Takuatshina) is a narrative-driven game that lets you live the intertwining journeys of Jeanne, a shipwrecked girl stranded far from the French colonies, and Maikan, a young Innu forced to travel west when his people are afflicted with a strange illness.

As each struggles to survive the wilderness of 17th Century Canada, their contrasting perspectives will inform their encounters with the denizens of this divided land. Your choices will shape their respective paths, but the actions of one may have consequences for the other…

In Two Falls, you will become fully immersed in the wild territories of Canada through the perspective of the two characters, uncovering their realities, their culture, and their way to understand life. For Maikan, the land is alive and familiar. He moves with ease through the forest and recognizes animals and plants. For Jeanne, everything is new, unfamiliar, scary and strange…the forest is full of unknown dangers.

LIVE THE STORY THROUGH MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES

All stories can be interpreted in many different ways, and Two Falls is no exception. Throughout the game, uncover and interpret different events from Maikan or Jeanne’s point of view. You will soon realize that one event can have very different meanings for them, eventually finding yourself doubting your own beliefs.
